How to end a game
All periods must be finished for a game to be considered complete.
You are able to leave a game at any stage, however the game will not be finalised until all periods have been completed.
How to leave a game at any stage:
- From the main game screen, navigate to 'Menu' and select 'Leave Game'.
- In the confirm box, select 'Yes'.
- On the event page, you have the option to 'Resume Game'.
- Click this button when you are ready to return to the game and you will be taken back to the time you last left the game.
- Repeat the steps above should you wish to leave the game at any other stage.
How to complete a game:
- All periods must be completed.
- The period length is set when finalising the game settings, however you are able to end a period prior to the time set for that period (e.g. if the period length was set to 15 minutes, you are able to end the period at 10 minutes, if required).
- Once you select 'End Period', in the confirm box, select 'End Period'.
- You have the option to return back to the previous period if needed.
- Repeat the steps above for the remaining periods.
- Once you reach the fourth period and you select 'End Period', you will be taken to the game summary page.
- Select 'End Game' in the side navigation menu.
- Select 'End Game' in the confirm box. Note: You will not be able to edit any stats/scores once you end the game.
If the Timekeeper role had been delegated for the game, the timekeeper is kicked out of the game at this step and the ability to edit stats and finalise the game devolves to the Game Owner.
- In the event summary, the game will be listed as 'Completed'.
- In the events listing page, the game will be marked as 'Completed'.
