Using Join Team Codes

Team Codes are associated with a team which has been created and can be provided to users to enable them to join the team.

To send a user a team code, please follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to 'Account'.
  2. Select the team you wish to invite user(s) to.
  3. Select 'Team Join Code'

  1. Toggle the 'Enable Team Join Code' on.

  1. Once the 'Enable Team Join Code' has been activated, a second option of 'Require Approval To Join' will appear. Toggle to on or off as required.

  1. If 'Require Approval To Join' is toggled to off, the Team Join Code and the option to generate a new code will be provided.

  1. Select the share button next to the code and choose the method of sharing you wish to use (e.g. AirDrop, Message, Email).

  1. Enter in the user's credentials and the Join Team Code will be sent for the user to enter when joining a team.

Users who are invited to join a team via the join team code will automatically be added as a 'viewer'.

If you would like the user to have admin capacity, you need to update their role in the 'Members' section.

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to 'Members'.

  1. Select the 'Staff' tab up the top of the screen.

  1. Select the staff member you wish to update their role.
  2. Select the pen icon next to their roles.

  1. Select 'Admin' and then select 'Save' in the top right hand corner.
