Period Length

Refers to the length of each period for your game.


Game settings, and therefore, Period Length, are set up when creating an event. See the following article for creating a new event:


You can update the game settings once you have started a game by following the below:

  1. Select the three dot menu option in the top right hand corner, then select 'Edit Game Settings'.

  1. Select the 'Period Length' option.

  1. Select the desired period length and then select 'Save' in the top right hand corner to submit configuration.


  1. If you select 'Save as Season Default', the game settings will automatically be set up and applied to any new events created for that season.
  2. Select 'Save'.

You can also set the game settings within the Season Settings area, which will automatically be applied to any new events created for that season.

  1. Navigate to 'Account' in the bottom navigation bar.
  2. Select 'Seasons'.
  3. Click on the relevant season and select 'Edit' in the top right hand corner.
  4. Update any settings as required.
  5. Click 'Save'.


How periods work in Play:
  • When you are in a game, the clock will count upwards.

  • The progress bar surrounding the clock will change to red at the end of the period.


Period length for iPhone Users:
