Planning Rotations / Substitution Queue

The Play app features easy to manage and implement player rotations. Follow the process below to see how it's done:

  1. When you are within the Field View of a game, you will be able to select 'Plan Mode' in the top-right of the field area to begin planning rotations. Select this action to start (additionally, you can navigate to the 'Queue' pane on the sidebar area and select 'Start Plan' to do the same but only when the Queue is empty).

  2. To start a new rotation, select a minimum of two players.

  3. When you are satisfied with your plan, select the 'Add to Queue' action.

  4. You will see a badge applied to the queue button in the top-left hand side of the sidebar, which indicates how many items are in the queue. Select this action to view planned rotations applied.

  5. This area allows you to rearrange the order of rotations or delete any subsitution plans which are no longer required. You can use the 'Back' action to return to the planning sidebar and add more rotations. To leave Plan Mode and return to the game, select the 'Back to Game' action in the top-left hand side of the main header.

  6. Now viewing the queue, you will see the next upcoming rotation and all rotations which follow. To execute a rotation, select the rotation and then select the 'Execute' action.

Managing Conflicts

If you create a rotation plan which includes players from another rotation plan which will cause a conflict, you will be presented with the following dialog when you attempt to execute the rotation. From here, you can decide to cancel the queue item or continue regardless, which will automatically remove the upcoming rotation from the plan it conflicts with.
